“I am passionate about creating environments that enhance the human experience.”
Celia Bartel
Hello.
My architectural education has been driven by a strong interest in urban design, community-centred architecture, and the historical narratives embedded within the built environment.
Throughout my undergraduate studies, I achieved a Grade Point Average of 6.79, earning the UniSA Medal for exceptional academic achievement. My portfolio reflects a commitment to place-sensitive and socially responsive design, demonstrated through projects such as the Harry Jakamarra Nelson Cultural Centre, a community-driven architectural intervention for the Warlpiri people, and the Invisible Presence Memorial, a memorial for the homeless of New York. These works demonstrate my ability to integrate urban planning, environmental strategies, and architectural storytelling.
I am eager to continue learning, questioning boundaries, and contributing meaningful design solutions that support resilient communities, adaptive design strategies and the creation of safe and inclusive spaces across both public and private realms.
Thanks for being here.
